Infinity Scarf
HDC Infinity scarf
This simple scarf is made using 2 strands of thread and a Q
hook.
HDC—half double crochet
FHDC—foundation half double crochet stitch. See video here
Ch—Chain
Colors used:
A=Aran
B=Light Grey
C=Black
Colors used in order: A,C,A,B,A,B,A,C,A.
Row 1: Start with
Aran. Make 115 stitches using the FHDC (foundation half double crochet).
Change color to C in last stitch.Ch 1, turn. (I cut my ends at the end of each row and then
work them in when I am finished with the last row).
Row 2: HDC
across. Change to color A in last
stitch, ch 1 turn.
Row 3: HDC across.
Change to color B in last stitch, Ch 1, turn.
Row 4: HDC across. Change to color A in last stitch, ch 1
turn.
Row 5: HDC across.
Change to color B in last stitch, ch1, turn.
Row 6: HDC across.
Change to color A in last stitch, Ch 1, turn.
Row 7: HDC across.
Change to color C in last stitch, Ch1, turn.
Row 8: HDC across. Change
to color A in last stitch, Ch 1, turn.
Row 9: HDC across. Finish off.
Work in ends, sew the two ends together. Make sure scarf is
not twisted.
Small wrap with
button
Row 1: Ch 26, HDC in 2nd ch from hook. HDC
across. Ch 1 turn. (25 HDC made)
Row 2: HDC across. Ch 1 turn.
Row 3 and 4 repeat row 2.
Finish off.
Double scarf and wrap around scarf and sew ends together.
Sew on button.
