#10

Dawn is having another color challenge. Aren't these colors fun. Love them together. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and enjoy what you are doing. Here is my version. I stamped the flower with PTI background basics: text style.
i stressed the edge of the leaves. The center of the flower is Bitty Star Basics and a PTI button with PTI ribbon and twine. So adorable.
A simple statement but with profound impact "Love You"
Enjoy!

Just some fun things i have been working on.

I really need to work on my picture taking skills and find a way to hold my card better, like the frog that Dawn McVey uses. But check out the cute butterfly i just made up. I think it turned out so stinkin cute. That was my first one. I am still tweeking it a little.
And isn't this cricut cut bird and umbrella just the cutest thing ever. I added some little shiny embellishments just to make it pop a little. The small flowers are die cut on the cuttlebug.

Ok, I had fun making this notebook. I wanted something small that i could keep with me and add notes or jot down my wish list from Papertrey Ink or SU. or just a too do list without a million little post it notes everywhere. I think the little butterfly is adorable too. A little bling and a red string attatched to mark the page. Fun Fun Fun.

I had to make a cute birthday card for a cute grandaughter whose birthday is coming up so this is what i came up with and i love how it turned out.

Just another fun card that i stamped and then used my watercolor pencils to fill in. I added a little crochetted flower to give it dimension.

The Pink Stamper Color Challenge

Color Challenge at The Pink Stamper.
The colors i used are all from PTI. The button and twine and sentiment are also. The only thing that isn't is the small flourish on the corner of the sentiment. That is from Michaels.
Fun colors. Too cloudy and dark to get a good picture.
I love these flowers that Dawn Mcvey gave a tutorial on how to make them.
Fun, fun, Fun.
Happy Day. :)

Dawn McVey Color Challenge

Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #8 Dawn is having another wonderful color challenge. I love participating in these. I love the colors she always picks and i love stalking her blog and reading about her on twitter. I can't get enough of her beautiful talent for making and creating art. So here is my take on the challenge. I hope you like it. Please leave a comment good or bad. I always learn from my mistakes so if you have any suggestions on photography or anything else, please let me know. Enjoy!

Close up of the crochetted flowers and the embossed leaves and small punched flower and flourish.
I wanted to add a side view to show the dimension of the sentiment and the flower.
I used pop ups.

Blog Candy

Check out this link for some yummy blog candy. http://yourmemoriescanada.blogspot.com/2009/06/june-month-long-blog-candy.html

Busy

My niece called me and asked if i would like to share a booth with her at the Nibley heritage days. I said sure but what would i sale? She said your cards or anything else you want. So i got busy making these.
Cute little crocheted flowers.
A cute bithday card

A no sentiment card with cute paper flowers.
Just a close up of the flower. I really like how it turned out.
My first paper flower.
This cute little bird i discovered on one of my cricut cartriges.
And this resemblence of a cute fishing creel i thought would make a very cute Fathers Day gift for Doyle. I made it from the lunch box templete i bought from Papertrey Ink. I love how it turned out.
I crocheted the lace and flower and attatched to this birthday card. The picture doesn't do the colors justice.
So this is the start of things i am selling at the Nibleys Heritage days. I think i will also add some of these items to Etsy to sale also.
